bootleg copies of all three from vinyl and relatively satisfied, but it seems
very silly that they are not available. Of course ON THE BEACH is most essential
of the 3. Sorry, that's AMERICAN STARS 'N' BARS. But ON THE BEACH is still one
of those perfect mood setting albums with a super mix of different styles. The
lack of an official release is a perfect example of why bootleggers flourish
and are appreciated by us working stiffs.
